📅 How to View Today's Appointments

Open the Doctor Portal
Go to portal/doctor/

Select Your Name
Use the dropdown at the top to select "Dr. Ashok Sajnani" or "Dr. Sunita Sajnani"

View Stats
See at a glance:
• Total appointments today
• Pending appointments
• Patients currently waiting
• Completed consultations

💊 How to Write a Prescription

Find the Patient
Look for the patient in "Today's Appointments" list

Click "Write Prescription" Button
A form will appear

Enter Diagnosis
Example: "Osteoarthritis - Right Knee"

Add Medicines
For each medicine, enter:
• Medicine name (e.g., "Glucosamine 500mg")
• Dosage (e.g., "1-0-1" means morning-afternoon-evening)
• Duration (e.g., "30 days")

Add Instructions
Write any diet, exercise, or precaution advice

Set Follow-up Date
When should the patient return?

Save & Print
Click "💾 Save & Print" to save and print the prescription

✅ How to Mark Appointment Complete

Find the Appointment
Look in "Today's Appointments"

Click "✅ Complete"
The appointment will be marked as completed
The "Completed" count on the dashboard will increase automatically.

🏃 How to Mark Patient as Waiting

When patient arrives
Click "🏃 In Waiting" next to their name

Patient appears in waiting queue
Staff can see who is waiting

📱 How to Send Quick Message to Patient

Go to Simple View
portal/doctor/simple.html

Use Quick Message Section
Type your message (health tips, reminders, etc.)

Select Patient & Send
Choose patient and click Send
Great for sending exercise reminders, diet tips, or follow-up reminders!
